I’m reviewing for my organic chemistry class and greatly appreciate all the articles you’ve made, they make for great study material (alongside the mini quizzes at the end of sections!).
In the last images before the Notes, the 4th displayed molecule (4 carbons, 2 carbonyl groups and 2 amine groups across a vertical plane of symmetry) is said to produce 3 signals. I am lead to believe that this is supposed to be 2 signals, though? Even in the diagram under the “Answer” column, the two carbon molecules are labeled 1 and 2, there is no third unsymmetrical/additonal carbon.
This isn’t a vital question, but I figured I’d make sure. Thanks again.
